Hong Kong film industry decided to make use of their movies to show their love and concern for the earthquake victims. As such, Cheng Long, Stephen Chow, Tony Leung Chaowei and Liu Weiqiang, planned to film movies as relieves for the eathquakes. All the tickets earnings will be donated to charity.

Cheng Long traveled from Cannes to London and met up with a few international well-known movie producers. They discussed about making a movie about Szechuan earthquake, all earnings will be given to charity.

Stephen Chow revealed that he also wanted to make a movie about the earthquake. He inquired the Red Cross society about helping out as a volunteer. He was afraid of bringing trouble to them and thus has to consider the options carefully. He hoped to help rebuild the schools, adopt orphans and carry out disaster relieves.

Tony Leung and Carina Lau returned from Cannes to Hong Kong. Tony Leung confirmed that he will participate in the movie that Liu Weiqiang is going to direct. About the disaster relief on June 1st, he will attend it but the singing part will still be carried out by the singers. When asked about helping out in affected areas, he expressed that he will need to wait instructions from the film association.

It was reported that Zhang Ziyi broke down in front of the media when carrying out disaster relief in Cannes. A lot of people did not know about the China earthquake. This invokes her and she burst out crying. She even scolded those people idiots for not knowing. This was all posted on her blog.

Liang Chaowei won the Asian movie best actor award, after the celebration feast, Wei Zai and his girlfriend Liu Jialing interlocked their fingers and left. When asked when are they getting married? They just smiled and continue walking.
