Taiwan popular singer, Jay Chou bought a new Mercedes-Benz SLR 722. He was itching to get on it. Thus, he caused quite a commotion while driving on the road. During the endorsement event yesterday, he agreed tacitly that he bought a new car and is currently waiting for his custom made ‘batman’ car.

Jay Chou apologized sincerely that he did an illegal test drive on his new car. As a public character, he demonstrated a wrong example to the younger generation and he urged them not to learn from him.

It was rumored that Jay Chou has been advising Jolin Tsai to start up a company on her own. Jay denied it and stated that he had not been in contact with Jolin.

With his new car, Jay boasted that he could get rid of the paparazzi easily now. Jay is not feeling well and coughs could be heard from him during the event yesterday. He has recorded 3 songs for his upcoming album that is due in late August.

He went for an interview at CNN and had an interesting experience there.

Jay Chou became the new spokesperson for Coca-cola’s, Sprite with other China sportswomen. He was once Pepsi’s spokesperson but his contract was fulfilled, thus Coca-cola invited him to become their spokesperson.

In this new commercial ad, Jay Chou together with three other China springboard diving sportswomen and a China singer, perform springboard diving by the pool. Jay posed many diving positions and pretends to be surfing.

Although he did not have much experience in surfing, he performs those actions very well.

Jay Chou attended the School Depression Prevention fund raising event as an ambassador. He stated that he has confidence to settle his emotions and prevent depression. When asked about being caught eating with female models, he replied that he is single now.

He now waits for his true love and still set his targets in the showbiz. “It’s easier that way, less hassle if both of us are in the showbiz.

There are numerous rumours about him attached and thus posing him as a playboy. Jay indicated that he does not mind as this impression is made, nothing can change it.

This weekend, Jay and Jolin, will be meeting at ‘China TOP songs charts’ awards ceremony. They will be the main attraction of the whole event. Regarding meeting Jolin, Jay was nonchalant about it and will definitely greet her and say hi!

He revealed that he did not maintain contact with Jolin these days as he is too busy. He did so when he wrote songs for her in the past. He complained, “My relationship with her all began with the media, why is it still being asked after 7 years?”

The paparazzi asked him about being caught going out with female models, he retorted, “I’m 30 years old now, it’s normal to be out eating with friends. If the female friends I go out with are my girlfriends then I will have tons by now!” He even stress that he is single right now.

Taiwan artistes Liu Geng Hong, Wang Wan Fei, F.I.R Ah Qing etc attended the event for ‘Taiwan New Life Church’. They produced a ‘Hope’ music album about their love for their religion. Jay Chou attended the event even though he is not a Christian. The paparazzi asks him about being caught going to clubs, he decline to give any response.

His buddy Liu Geng Hong felt sorry for him as the paparazzi only publish bad news about Jay. They did not even turn up when Jay Chou was visiting the orphanage. Moreover, the bad news was without proof such as photographs. Jay was too famous as such his friend indicated that he definitely will feel uneasy when going to pubs and clubs.

Jay’s mother is a Christian. Under the influence of his mother and Liu Geng Hong, he learns to pray. He even became one of the Church mates. According to the clubbing event, Liu Geng Hong indicated that they planned to have a gathering for their clubs at Mr. J but there were too many people. Therefore, they choose to have it at AZUSA club. They forbid the media from taking photographs for their privacy. Jay is one of the guests so he is at the club too.
