Days after her break-up with Jared Murillo was made public, sources have confirmed to Perez Hilton that the actress is dating director Scott Speer.
“Ashley is dating [music video director] Scott Speer,” an insider said.
Speer directed a three-part series for the singer. Included in it were videos for the single “He Said She Said”, “Not Like That” and “Suddenly.”
Witnesses say the new couple partied at Hollywood club H-Wood this over the weekend. They didn’t leave until the Lindsay Lohan-like hour of 3 a.m.

Following a two-year relationship, Ashley Tisdale and Jared Murillo have broken up.
“They have not been dating for awhile now,” a source told Us Weekly. “They just grew apart, but are remaining friends.”

Bad news for fans of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
Star Ashley Tisdale has chosen to exit the Disney Channel series, as celebrity gossip tabloid OK! reports she’s grown tired of playing the role of Maddie Fitzpatrick.
A representative confirmed that production on the show has come to a halt; other stars from the program are on board a spin-off of the show, The Suite Life on Deck, but the High School Musical 3 actress won’t be a cast member.

Ashley Tisdale is a wanted woman. And we don’t just mean by boyfriend Jared Murillo!
The High School Musical star is currently shooting the third installment of that wildly popular franchise, but she already has another deal signed, as Ashley will be starring in They Came From Upstairs.
Now, The Hollywood Reporter states that Tisdale is in negotiations to star in a remake of the 1989 movie Teen Witch. She’d play Louise Miller in the flick, which is about an unpopular girl who discovers that she’s a descendant of witches.
Lastly, like costar Vanessa Hudgens, Tisdale is also currently working on her second album.

TVGuide.com: As you move from your album to now a new movie, They Came from Upstairs, what are your personal challenges?
Tisdale: I never find doing a movie challenging, except for the work. I miss my family, of course, and I miss friends and everything, but I find the work more challenging. I’m always up for a challenge.
TVGuide.com: With all your success, though, and the success of your HSM cast mates, there’s added scrutiny, too. How have you seen the media coverage of yourself change over the years?
Tisdale: I don’t really pay attention to the scrutiny. People are going to make up stories about you, and people are going to talk about what you did. But you know why you did it. What’s most important to me is being known for what I do in my work. I really could care less about paparazzi following me all the time and seeing what I do everyday.
TVGuide.com: In the upcoming High School Musical 3, what can we expect from your character?
Tisdale: I don’t know much, because I haven’t read the script yet! But I have recorded the songs, so I do know a little bit about it. It is senior year, so there’s going to be graduation and prom, but I can’t spill much else…

High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale is finding herself on the defensive again after rumors surfaced lastweek that she got more plastic surgery.
Ashley scoffs at the idea.
“People are saying I had another nose job. I did not. That’s ridiculous,” Tisdale said. “I was away in New Zealand filming a movie (They Came From Upstairs) and people think I went away to have more work done. I didn’t.”
Tisdale had a nose job in last November to correct a “deviated septum” and to “smooth out two bumps” from when she “fractured her nose” as a “teen.”
The singer and actress was ripped by some critics, saying that she didn’t have to change the entire look of her nose in order to fix her septum.
“Tabloids have doctors talk about what they think I did with my surgery, but they did not examine me,”
Ashley Tisdale responded.
“They don’t know what I have inside my nose.”
“It’s very irresponsible for a medical professional to comment on someone whom they have not examined,” adds Tisdale’s rep, Scott Appel.
