In any case, despite the persistent engagement rumors (fostered by her, for attention) Paris and her boyfriend du jour have officially called it quits.

A rep for the ho-tel heiress confirmed the breakup, for which no reason has been given as of this posting, with the following statement today:

“In response to the inquiry on whether Paris Hilton has split up with Doug Reinhardt, yes, this is true, the couple are no longer together.”

“They remain friends and ask that you please respect their privacy.”

The pair had been together for six months, which is an eternity by her standards. Reinhardt’s rep, who better start sending out resumes, had no comment.

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. This saying also applies to Paris and Doug.

Various sources are reporting that Miley Cyrus has broken up with Justin Gaston… possibly for Nick Jonas!

Both E! Online and Us Weekly have quoted insiders that claim the pair called it quits on Saturday, the same day each posted sad Twitter messages regarding the relationship.

As the young Hannah Montana heads to Los Angeles for two months to shoot a new movie, a friend says Miley simply ran out of time for the 20-year old underwear model.

“They have been having trouble for a while,” said the source. “It’s been hard for a long time since Miley has been working so much and traveling a lot.”

But isn’t a good, hot, Bible-toting guy worth fighting for? Unless, that is, Cyrus has another waiting in the wings…

For a few weeks, Gaston has complained to friends about his girlfriend’s resurrected relationship with Nick Jonas. That gorgeous body was reportedly being eaten up inside by the rekindled friendship.

“She obviously has been hanging out with Nick again a lot, and Justin was cool with it at first, as long as it was just a cool, friendly thing,” an insider told E! News. “She didn’t cheat, but I guess Nick was trying to get her back the whole time.”

Adding fuel to this juicy fire? On Saturday, Cyrus posted a mysterious message on her Twitter page:

“I’m in a dark theater ‘writing’ a song with nick j who is rockin a faded eggplant shirt! :)”

Did Miley just imply – or simply state, really – that she was hooking up with Nick Jonas inside a movie theater?!? Is there any other way to interpret her “writing” reference? So what exactly is she up to? She sure has a complicated love life.

Last week, readers of The Hollywood Gossip got to know Drake LaBry.

But Kris Allen, along with most of the American Idol finalists, already met Adam Lambert’s boyfriend during season eight of the show. And the series champion couldn’t be more excited that his friend is now open with this relationship.

“I think he’s happier that he can be himself and it’s nice,” Allen said to People, when asked about Lambert stepping out with his LaBry last week. “Adam is who he is and he’s not afraid. I support him in whatever he does.”

Allen added that LaBry is “a really nice guy and that he and Lambert “click well and they’re really nice together.”

Meanwhile, Lambert has confirmed that the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone will reveal answers to everyone’s questions about his sex life.

“At this point, I think everybody knows everything, but once the Rolling Stone article comes out, people will know everything,” he said at last night’s Young Hollywood Awards.

Chilling with Usher, balling with Shaq, posing lame YouTube shout-outs and leaking a set of cute, post-coital pics of himself with Rihanna, the embattled star has embarked on a PR blitz of sorts even as he faces serious felony charges.

But if Chris Brown really wants us to believe he “ain’t a monsta,” maybe he should start by not being a tool and posing like a complete thug in pics like this.

Show Luo appeared at an endorsement event yesterday where he met his fans. He plays the role of “The happiest endorser” who encourage others that happiness is actually very simple. Meanwhile, Ben who is the leader of male group Choc 7, made his first 27th birthday wish of taking naked pictures to remember his youth.

Show Luo got back on his feet and started anew. Despite the online sex scandal, he maintained his cheerfulness and continue his work. Thus, he was chosen as the happiest endorser.

Do you know Choc 7? They are formerly known as Mo Fan Qi Bang. This group of artistes consists of Ben, Peter Li, Louis Lu, Gevin Wu, Ye Shou, Xiao Ma and Modi. They are signed to Channel [V] and they participated in the variety show, Mo Fan Bang Bang Tang.

From trailers to photos to secrets about its stars, New Moon is receiving as much hype as any movie in recent memory. And it doesn’t even come out until November!

The latest report is courtesy of Life & Style, a tabloid that, unsurprisingly, is focusing most of its coverage on Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

According to the magazine, the stars perfected their spit swapping technique on May 27 in Montepulciano, Italy, as a 10-hour shoot focused on the key reunion scene between Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.

“They were happy and laughing throughout filming,” said an extra. “It was like they were the only two actors on set.”

Despite Stewart’s supposed relationship with Michael Angarano, witnesses say her and Pattinson were able to spend a lot of alone time in Italy.

“I saw them surfing the Internet together,” a bartender at the Grand Hotel Admiral Palace said. “They were looking and laughing at something.”

Meanwhile, Ashley Greene described how the beauty of the Italian countryside contrasted with the tone of the scenes being filmed there.

“These are the most frightening and nerve-racking scenes,” she said. “It’s when [the powerful Volturi vampires] are debating whether to kill Edward and Bella.”

While the public is still recovering from Susan Boyle’s shocking second place finish on Britain’s Got Talent, the singer herself has had more pressing concerns with which to deal:

She was hospitalized, due to physical and mental exhaustion, soon after the competition ended.

Fortunately, the popular finalist is doing well, a rep for judge Simon Cowell told the Associated Press today.

“Provided she’s given a few days and then allowed to be as normal as possible, she should be fine,” Max Clifford said. “All she wants to do is sing.”

And that’s all the public wants her to do. Clifford added that fans can be assured of a Susan Boyle album reaching the States in the near future; Cowell will see to it.

“She’s going to have potentially huge album sales, particularly in America. Americans absolutely love her,” Clifford said. “Everyone wants her on their show singing. That gives her massive potential, and Simon will make sure she has the best songs and the best productions.”

Yes, Sacha Baron Cohen forced Eminem into the 69 position at last night’s MTV Movie Awards.

But while the Web is buzzing over that bare-assed, ballsy maneuver, the evening still belonged to the cast of Twilight/New Moon.

First, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart came thisclose to making out on stage, as the screams of countless teenagers could be heard around the world during the seconds this twosome teased viewers on stage with a near lip lock.

“[The acceptance] was Kristen’s idea. My ideas were so terrible they were rejected,” Pattinson admitted to Entertainment Tonight after the show. “So I’m happy she helped me two minutes before it happened.”

As for the evening’s other major development – the debut of the official New Moon trailer – star Taylor Lautner was pleased with what he saw.

“It’s really cool! We had a blast making the film and we just wrapped. So now that the trailer is already coming out, it’s really cool to be able to see it for the first time,” he said.

Lautner added that no one in the cast expected Twilight to grow into a worldwide sensation.

“We were just making this book series and we hoped some fans would enjoy it and they did. Then, it kind of exploded from there and here we are!”
