Newly opened Taiwan A-List Celebrities School invited Golden Bell Awards Winner, Guo Ziqian and fellow entertainment industry professionals such as actor, Xu Jiehui, music producer, Yuan Weiren and Avex executive manager, Lin Mingyang as the panel of  judges. A new wave of imitation was brought by popular politics imitation program CTITV Party, Quan Min Zui Da Dang.  Taiwan popular icons such as male host Zhu Geliang,  comedian Hui Ci, DJ Dennis and singer Lu Guang Zhong are the hot favorites for imitation. Various females participants vie to imitate Zhu Geliang.

A-list Celebrities School attracted 600 over participants for their first trial registration which was  held at CTITV’s lobby. Many of the participants forgot their lines and got too nervous to carry on. What is commendable is the spirit the participants have. Even though the situation was very competitive, the participants encourage each other not to be afraid. Guo Ziqian was touched to see this and said, “It’s rare to see the participants care for each other as this is a competition. The entertainment industry needs such spirit!”

Guo Ziqian further divulged that he was scolded by Wang Weizhong for forgetting his lines 36 times consecutively. However, he continue to act as one of the cameraman encouraged him simply by saying he will wait for him to get it right.

Many of the participants imitated Zhu Geliang with his typical action of wringing his hands. However, marks was deducted as Zhu Geliang himself did not wring his hand. Their imitations were based on Guo’s version which was exaggerated. Guo often imitate Taiwanese singer, Yu Tian. Most of the participants imitate him by raising their legs and singing with their heads held up high. In Guo’s version, he imitate the way how Yu Tian speaks which surprised Yu Tian as it was almost exactly the same. Yu Tian even praised Guo for such good acting.

Guo Ziqian admitted that Show Luo is the most handsome comedian. He can imitate Zhu Geliang and Lin Ruiyang. The beautiful Fang fangfang is the most successful femal comedian in Taiwan. She can become ugly while acting and also maintain her composure in reality.

Guo revealed that he could never be the male lead so he could only fight for the supporting role. He commented that there are many exceptions in the entertainment industry. Taiwan’s new popular icon Yao Yao can shot to fame with her simple advertisement slogan, “Sha Hen Da!”

Now, Entertainment Weekly is stoking the fire of this red hot feud by pitting the actors against one another on the cover of its latest issue.

Based on the success of the Twilight Saga and True Blood, the magazine asks why pop culture is currently embracing this genre with such enthusiasm.

“The traditional vampire story, with monsters and victims, chases and chills, is plain fun,” Alan Ball, a producer on True Blood, said in response to this question.

“But they can often reveal the general state of the cultural psyche.”

Hollywood isn’t done with sucking up the public’s taste for blood, either. This fall, The Vampire Diaries premieres on The CW.

This all started years ago, however, as Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt made hearts melt in Interview with the Vampire, the 1994 movie that helped launch the career of both these A-listers.

Los Angeles Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter personally went to Dr. Arnold Klein’s office to get Michael Jackson’s medical records this afternoon, TMZ reports.

He went to the office because Dr. Klein was not fully cooperating with the L.A. Coroner’s office request for documents pertaining to Klein’s treatment of Jackson.

On July 2, Winter’s office contacted the office of Dr. Klein and subpoenaed the medical records of Michael Jackson. At that time, Klein’s lawyer sent partial records and then promised he would send the rest later, but never did.

Winter’s office then called Dr. Arnold Klein’s rep to say they still hadn’t received the documents but Klein never responded. Thus the personal trip today.

According to Winter, a lawyer for Klein was in the office while another was on the telephone. The lawyers promised to hand over the files in 24 hours.

Law enforcement is investigating Dr. Klein’s prescription practices as they relate to Michael Jackson – including prescribing him medication using aliases.

If he is found to have withheld, altered or destroyed medical records of the singer, it could lead to additional scrutiny of the well-known dermatologist.

There have also been reports that Klein is the biological father of Michael’s kids Paris and Prince. He denies that he is … to the best of his knowledge.

Ella Chen is like Little Miss Sunshine who brightens everyone’s lives. She seems so cheerful and happy. Recently, she managed to change Jerry Yan’s perspective of life. Now, Jerry is more open to people and even knows how to joke with people.   However, this was not the case for her behind the screens. She was all smiles when on TV but there is a story behind. She divulged in S.H.E new book “3 Spas of Love” that she once drove up the highway and even planned her will during the ride.

S.H.E’s new book would be out on shelves on 31st July. Fans can start pre-order now for an additional gift which is a CD of their two new songs “Dream Field” and “Locked In Time”. In the book, there is a chapter named “Cherish Happiness Lane”, in which Ella Chen describes her inner thoughts. She felt tired, she was tired of being a good person, tired of work and tired of everything. Finally, she snapped after reading the news on her being a big-shot and reported late for her work. On that day, she went home and grabbed her keys, switched off her cell phone and drove up the highway. 

While she was driving, she broke down and cried terribly. She did not know where to go and she was lost. She started to inquire of her existence. She even thought of the headlines that would appear the next day, “Ella Chen Killed In A Car Accident While Driving On Highway Yesterday”. She said, ” The house is to be sold and the money given to my family members. I must also remind them to be thrifty.”

All these negative thoughts slowly diminished while S.H.E went on trips with Taiwan’s World Vision to India to visit the poor. Hebe Tian and Selina Ren joked,  “Usually we close our doors to speak but now we open our doors and let others listen to what we say. This is so different and we feel so exposed.”

Assuming the plans don’t change again, Michael Jackson’s private family memorial service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Forest Lawn in L.A.

Immediately after, a motorcade will then go to the Staples Center complex in downtown Los Angeles where the public memorial for him will be held.

The family still hasn’t decided whether the public memorial service for Michael Jackson will be at the Staples Center or the smaller Nokia Theatre.

A decision on that is expected shortly. There has also been no decision yet on the allocation of tickets to the service, which should be in high demand.

As we reported earlier, the original venue, Neverland, was scratched.

Lots of crazy rumors are going around regarding Michael Jackson’s funeral, and the family itself has issued contradictory statements, but we believe this to be the plan, based on the latest reports. More details to come soon, hopefully.

World superstar Michael Jackson dies of a sudden heart attack on 25th June. Barack Obama, President of United States, gave his view through a spokesman. He felt that Michael Jackson’s life was somewhat tragic and sad. He describes Michael as a spectacular performer and a music icon.

Obama recently invited American black  singer,  Stevie Wonder to perform at the White House to honor him. Coincidentally, America public television broadcast this huge music concert on the 25th which Michael Jackson died.

However, the White House responded differently to Michael’s death. They were passive and did not make any response till the next day through a spokesman, Gibbs, despite the media waiting for their comment on this matter.

Gibbs admitted that he had discussed with President Obama about Michael’s death in the morning on the 26th. Obama clearly told Gibbs that Michael was a spectacular performer and music icon.

Gibbs believed that everyone have heard of Michael’s songs and saw him performed his “Moonwalk Dance” on television. Gibbs then remembered President Obama saying Michael’s life was tragic and sad.

Gibbs said that Obama expressed his condolences to Michael’s family. However, Gibbs admitted that Obama did not contact Michael’s family at all. The media was curious as to why no written statement was given to express their condolences. Gibbs replied, “I have just answered that.”

In contrast to former President Bush, Obama seems more cautious. Bush had always expressed condolences on written statement on behalf of the White House in respect to global celebrities death.

According to White House’s records, Obama had issued condolences statements to the deaths of only four people such as former South Korea President Roh Moo-hyun, Omar Bongo, former parliament member, Jack Kemp and American historian, Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Gibbs stated to the media that they would not issued any statement regarding Michael Jackson’s death. He specified that he would ask President Obama about the issue of statment and he would tell the media the response.

Michael Jackson passed away this afternoon. He was 50 years old.

A 911 call came in at 12:21 p.m. at his Holmby Hills home in L.A. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Los Angeles after suffering cardiac arrest. Paramedics administered CPR to the music icon in the ambulance.

Joe Jackson, father of Michael Jackson, said he had been alerted to the emergency but didn’t have details. His mother was reportedly on the way to visit him as well.

“I am in Las Vegas but yes people in Los Angeles called me and are with Michael and tell me he was taken to the hospital,” the elder Jackson told an E! News reporter. “His mother is on her way to the hospital now to check in on him.

“I am not sure what’s wrong. I am waiting to hear back.”

According to TMZ, a Jackson family member said the King of Pop was in “really bad shape” and his brothers were headed to UCLA Medical Center where he was.

He died shortly thereafter.

When paramedics arrived, Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

Michael Jackson is survived by his three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II.

He had 13 number one hits during his solo career, considered by many to be the greatest in history. He will be missed. There will never be another like him.

Celebrities in love? It’s difficult to know the truth about the love life of celebrities. Terri Kwan strongly emphasised that she was not involved with Jerry Yan in any way during an interview yesterday. She stated that she were merely friends with him.

However, the paparazzi continued to press on and asked Jerry Yan for his point of view. Unlike Terri Kwan, he did not clarify immediately. He said, “I never thought about what kind of relationship I have with Terri. One thing that I know that she is a nice girl and she is very easygoing. So I got along well with her.”

Jerry Yan always dodge the topic but this was the first time he answers this question truthfully. This answer made the paparazzi had a blurry view on this topic.

Jerry was busy filming “Down with Love” at Neihu Ruiguang Road. The scene was about Jerry crossing the road while deep with thoughts. Following that, he thought of something and dashes to somewhere immediately. Jerry Yan was busy with both filming and his album promotion. His busy schedule seems to take a toll on him. It was apparent to the public that he had slimmed down a lot. His chin has became sharper and he lost at least 3 kilograms of weight. It seemed pretty easy for him to act out the vexed part as his real life is already full of bothering matters. 

Jerry and Terri being a couple was an unfathomable mystery from the start. From the start of the rumor, neither party had really answer the question as to whether they were a couple or not.

Jerry Yan was used to what this kind of situations. He admitted that he felt that he had no choices at all, “At first there was the rumor that I was on odds with Terri. This leads to the rumor now. Even with his preliminary hearing scheduled for tomorrow, Chris Brown isn’t letting legal problems get in the way of putting together his new album.

Keri Hilson, a hit-making songwriter and singing superstar in her own right, tells E! Online that Chris recently asked for her help in the studio.

“He contacted me like four or five days ago,” Hilson said. “Us working together will be the first project I’ve worked on as a songwriter in a while.”

This wouldn’t be the first time for the two. They dueted on “Superhuman,” plus Hilson wrote “Young Love,” a track on Brown’s debut album.

It is unfortunate what they are going through, but I feel like if you’ve ever had a fan base, you’re really only one song away from appeasing that base,” she said of Chris Brown, whose PR firm is actively trying to remake his image.

“Whether that song is autobiographical or whether you want to talk about it or not, you’re just one hit away. That’s what I think of the industry in a nutshell.”

Lil Wayne is another controversial star Hilson has collaborated with. Most recently, two women (Nivea Hamilton and Lauren London) came out and said that they are currently pregnant with babies fathered by the frequently-arrested rapper.

“I’m still kind of hoping it’s not true,” Hilson said of Lil Wayne’s losing battle with condoms. “I’m a face-value person. I won’t believe it until I see it.”
