World superstar Michael Jackson dies of a sudden heart attack on 25th June. Barack Obama, President of United States, gave his view through a spokesman. He felt that Michael Jackson’s life was somewhat tragic and sad. He describes Michael as a spectacular performer and a music icon.

Obama recently invited American black  singer,  Stevie Wonder to perform at the White House to honor him. Coincidentally, America public television broadcast this huge music concert on the 25th which Michael Jackson died.

However, the White House responded differently to Michael’s death. They were passive and did not make any response till the next day through a spokesman, Gibbs, despite the media waiting for their comment on this matter.

Gibbs admitted that he had discussed with President Obama about Michael’s death in the morning on the 26th. Obama clearly told Gibbs that Michael was a spectacular performer and music icon.

Gibbs believed that everyone have heard of Michael’s songs and saw him performed his “Moonwalk Dance” on television. Gibbs then remembered President Obama saying Michael’s life was tragic and sad.

Gibbs said that Obama expressed his condolences to Michael’s family. However, Gibbs admitted that Obama did not contact Michael’s family at all. The media was curious as to why no written statement was given to express their condolences. Gibbs replied, “I have just answered that.”

In contrast to former President Bush, Obama seems more cautious. Bush had always expressed condolences on written statement on behalf of the White House in respect to global celebrities death.

According to White House’s records, Obama had issued condolences statements to the deaths of only four people such as former South Korea President Roh Moo-hyun, Omar Bongo, former parliament member, Jack Kemp and American historian, Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Gibbs stated to the media that they would not issued any statement regarding Michael Jackson’s death. He specified that he would ask President Obama about the issue of statment and he would tell the media the response.

Michael Jackson passed away this afternoon. He was 50 years old.

A 911 call came in at 12:21 p.m. at his Holmby Hills home in L.A. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Los Angeles after suffering cardiac arrest. Paramedics administered CPR to the music icon in the ambulance.

Joe Jackson, father of Michael Jackson, said he had been alerted to the emergency but didn’t have details. His mother was reportedly on the way to visit him as well.

“I am in Las Vegas but yes people in Los Angeles called me and are with Michael and tell me he was taken to the hospital,” the elder Jackson told an E! News reporter. “His mother is on her way to the hospital now to check in on him.

“I am not sure what’s wrong. I am waiting to hear back.”

According to TMZ, a Jackson family member said the King of Pop was in “really bad shape” and his brothers were headed to UCLA Medical Center where he was.

He died shortly thereafter.

When paramedics arrived, Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

Michael Jackson is survived by his three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II.

He had 13 number one hits during his solo career, considered by many to be the greatest in history. He will be missed. There will never be another like him.

Celebrities in love? It’s difficult to know the truth about the love life of celebrities. Terri Kwan strongly emphasised that she was not involved with Jerry Yan in any way during an interview yesterday. She stated that she were merely friends with him.

However, the paparazzi continued to press on and asked Jerry Yan for his point of view. Unlike Terri Kwan, he did not clarify immediately. He said, “I never thought about what kind of relationship I have with Terri. One thing that I know that she is a nice girl and she is very easygoing. So I got along well with her.”

Jerry Yan always dodge the topic but this was the first time he answers this question truthfully. This answer made the paparazzi had a blurry view on this topic.

Jerry was busy filming “Down with Love” at Neihu Ruiguang Road. The scene was about Jerry crossing the road while deep with thoughts. Following that, he thought of something and dashes to somewhere immediately. Jerry Yan was busy with both filming and his album promotion. His busy schedule seems to take a toll on him. It was apparent to the public that he had slimmed down a lot. His chin has became sharper and he lost at least 3 kilograms of weight. Jerry and Terri being a couple was an unfathomable mystery from the start. From the start of the rumor, neither party had really answer the question as to whether they were a couple or not.

Jerry Yan was used to what this kind of situations. He admitted that he felt that he had no choices at all, “At first there was the rumor that I was on odds with Terri. This leads to the rumor now. Currently, I’m filming with Ella Chen in ‘Down with Love’ and the situation is repeating again. I don’t know how to reply to all these absurb questions. Keri Hilson, a hit-making songwriter and singing superstar in her own right, tells E! Online that Chris recently asked for her help in the studio.

“He contacted me like four or five days ago,” Hilson said. “Us working together will be the first project I’ve worked on as a songwriter in a while.”

This wouldn’t be the first time for the two. They dueted on “Superhuman,” plus Hilson wrote “Young Love,” a track on Brown’s debut album.

It is unfortunate what they are going through, but I feel like if you’ve ever had a fan base, you’re really only one song away from appeasing that base,” she said of Chris Brown, whose PR firm is actively trying to remake his image.

“Whether that song is autobiographical or whether you want to talk about it or not, you’re just one hit away. That’s what I think of the industry in a nutshell.”

Lil Wayne is another controversial star Hilson has collaborated with. Most recently, two women (Nivea Hamilton and Lauren London) came out and said that they are currently pregnant with babies fathered by the frequently-arrested rapper.

“I’m still kind of hoping it’s not true,” Hilson said of Lil Wayne’s losing battle with condoms. “I’m a face-value person. I won’t believe it until I see it.”

Upon fleeing a horde of teenage fans, Robert Pattinson was clipped by a taxi cab today in Manhattan, but was merely grazed and emerged unscathed.

The British Twilight hunk had a brush with death running away from a throng of fans front of the Strand bookstore on Broadway and 12th Street.

He had been inside filming scenes for his new movie, Remember Me.

Exiting the building, Robert Pattinson tried to duck a crowd of screaming teenage girls waiting for him on the rainy sidewalk and made a break for it, running across the wet street for his trailer. That’s when a taxi grazed his hip, sources say.

Pattinson reportedly stood still for a moment, appearing stunned, as a bodyguard yelled at the girls: “You see what you did, you almost killed him!”
Yeah, way to show your appreciation, ladies.

“The reports are exaggerated,” said Vivian Mayer, a spokeswoman for the film’s production company. “It was not caused by his fans. Production continues.”

Pattinson has been mobbed all over the city, and also the subject of more rumors than we can even keep straight. Earlier today, he was reported to be dating Camilla Belle, a rumored love interest who he has been seen with in NYC.

Others say he is obsessed with Kristen Stewart, his Twilight co-star.

For Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, a duo whose smoldering Twilight passion has exploded into real life, absence makes the heart grow fonder.

It may also kill them, they are so obsessed with each other.

Rob is in New York for the summer, shooting Remember Me. Kristen is in L.A., working on The Runaways, a rock biopic in which she portrays Joan Jett.

According to OK!, that the young, white-hot stars are more than friends is beyond dispute at this point. It’s just a matter of where they go from here.

“It’s no secret that their relationship has been heating up these past few months,” says a source close to the pair, who recently completed New Moon and who have sparked rumors that they might be dating for over a month now.

“[Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart] are very attracted to each other, and there is definitely something very special going on between them.”

Something very special and complicated.

Kristen is apparently still involved with her longtime boyfriend, Michael Angarano, while Rob wants her to choose, one way or the other, by October.

That’s when he and Kristen start the third Twilight film, Eclipse.

All under the loving gaze of a throng of celebrity news photographers and dozens of adoring female fans from nearby New York University. Here he is in action:

Before the throng of admirers showed up, Robert, dressed in a flannel shirt over a cotton white tee, jeans, black sneakers and carrying a black backpack, ate breakfast outside with some of the cast during morning walkthroughs…

Remember Me also stars Pierce Brosnan, Chris Cooper, and Emilie de Ravin, and features R-Patz as a man whose family is torn apart by his brother’s suicide.

Sounds like a good flick, and even if it’s not, it will provide us with a lot of Robert Pattinson pictures during filming, so how bad can it really be, are we right?
