Edison Chen’s infamous sex scandal caused quite a stir in the Asia entertainment industry. Shu Qi was worried about the gun threatening incident that happened to Edison Chen last week and has expressed concern about Edison’s safety. She urged the public to give Edison a second chance and some time to reflect on his own mistakes. However, when Shu Qi returned to Taiwan to attend the International Makeup Award Ceremony, she refused to comment any further once she heard the mention of Edison Chen’s name.

Shu Qi appeared on stage with famous model designer, Roger Chen. Shu Qi was clad in a Gucci flowing summer dress which brought out her sexy side. She divulged that she has the same weakness as most women which are unable to resist the attraction of facial products. She believed whatever Roger Chen recommend and will definitely buy it, whether it is for removal of freckles, moisturizing or whitening.

There is one common phrase that says, “Women cannot rely just on cosmetics products forever”. Shu Qi agreed with this and thinks that women should put on makeup suitable for herself and be good to yourself. She feels that women who wake up in the morning looking refreshed are most beautiful.

Besides Shu Qi, Sonia Sui was the limelight of the event, she appeared last dressed in a fiery red blown out dress with jewellery worth 5 million.
